HDTV!

My old television was built in 1988--the same year as some of my readers--so the time has come to get a new one. The old one would fade out once in a while but otherwise it has served me well for the past 15 years. Circuit City had a 36" flat-screen HD-ready Sony on sale with free 12-month financing and a free DVD player so I gave in. The picture is incredible, and I haven't even gotten my HD receiver yet - the cable guy is comiing tomorrow morning to hook me up.
